Hopping to a Hospital near you soon

Since 2011 the Swift Group have spread some Easter cheer (and chocolate) to local hospitalised children and their siblings, and we’re getting ready to do it again this year!

Our very own Easter Bunny will be hopping over to the Royal Berkshire, John Radcliffe and the Great Western Hospitals on the days running up to Easter.

We make sure that children, who, because of ongoing treatment, will not be enjoying a family Easter at home are presented with a special egg from our Easter Bunny. The visit has such an uplifting effect on the patients, and families not to forget the special NHS workers, it’s an annual Swift tradition we look forward to each year.

It’s easy to take for granted the time we spend with family and loved ones at Easter. For many children (and their siblings) this time is missed, due to time spent in the hospital receiving treatment. We are privileged to have built long-term relations with these hospitals through our work as Specialist Medical Logisticians allowing us to deliver just a few moments of fun and joy.

Over the years the initiative has continued to grow, which is due to the outstanding generosity of our customers, local businesses, friends and family and for that, we thank every one of you!
