We need your help…

As the crisis in Ukraine worsens, more and more women and children are fleeing their homes. As a proud employer of many people from Eastern Europe, many of whom have friends and family in Ukraine, we want to help. Swift are proposing that we take a vehicle of the remaining new and unwrapped toys that were donated to the Louise Purton Toy Appeal directly to the Poland/Ukraine border.

As the gifts were donated by you to the children of West Berkshire, we need your approval. Please visit our social channels and like or comment to confirm your support.

Update: 1st March

Thanks to you all, we are now confident we have your blessing to send toys and other aid from West Berkshire to Ukraine. We are talking to people on the ground in the country as well as the Reading Ukranian Community Centre. Following our meetings, we will update those of you who'd like to help with a list of things we need and locations for drop offs. Update: 3rd March

Thanks to all of you who have offered help to us in getting aid and supplies to Ukraine. We are currently working with EU Customs and official Ukrainian representatives to arrange a handover of aid to be taken directly into the war zone from Poland. We are reviewing the situation constantly to make sure the vehicle is loaded with the most appropriate aid.
