West Berkshire Community Hospital

Since 2007, Swift Group have donated three electric mobility scooters to West Berkshire Community Hospital for use by patients and visitors in need of mobility support while on site. This need was highlighted by a Swift employee who visited the hospital with an elderly relative and found that the hospital’s supply of wheelchairs was limited, and could not support the needs of unaccompanied patients, or those accompanied by anything other than a very able-bodied carer.
