Swift sponsors Thrive Teams' Young Achievers for 2019

Swift were proud to be sponsors of the Thrive 2019 Young Achievers Awards. The evening was a great success, with over 200 guests gathering to celebrate the talent, courage and resilience of some of Oxford’s amazing young people.

Swift and the Thrive Team are both enormously proud of every young person that won an award or presented at the evening.

This year, Brad from Thrive's Barton Team was presented with the award for Inspiring Leadership, which Swift sponsored.

Brad has been involved with Thrive Teams in Barton for the past two years. He was initially part of a group mentoring programme that met each week to explore a range of issues relevant to young people. His leadership potential was spotted by his Team Leader and he became part of our Young Coaches Programme. He and a number of other young people plan and deliver football coaching sessions for a local U12 team. His energy, enthusiasm and commitment encouraged another three young people to get involved. A natural leader with huge potential, Brad is willing to give up his own time to invest in others.

The local radio, Radio Oxford was there on the night, with a special extended show interviewing the young people and some of the Thrive team.
